Privacy notice
What happens to the information you send us through nivergrid.com, and the choices you have about it.
Who we are
Nivergrid (“we”, “us”) operates nivergrid.com. [Legal entity name, registered address and jurisdiction — to be completed before launch.] We buy unused GPU compute and AI model capacity from companies that have more than they need. For any question or request about your information, email [email protected].
What we collect
When you use the “Sell your capacity” form, we collect what you type in:
- your name, work email address and company;
- the type of capacity, the provider, its approximate size or value, and the time remaining on the commitment;
- any notes you add; and
- your confirmation that you’ve read this notice, and the time you sent the form.
If you email us instead, we receive your message and anything in it. Please don’t send passwords, API keys or confidential contract terms through the form or by email; we’ll exchange contract details under an NDA.
Like any website, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and request logs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
What we don’t do
- We don’t use analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies.
- The site itself sets no cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie if its bot protection is switched on.
- We don’t sell or rent your information.
Our typefaces are served by Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google, which receives your IP address as part of that request.
Why we use it
- To reply to your inquiry.
- To evaluate whether we can make an offer for the capacity you describe and, if you choose to go ahead, to prepare and complete a transaction.
- To keep reasonable records of our business correspondence.
- To protect the site and the form from spam and abuse.
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries, and on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Where it’s stored
Form submissions are processed by a Cloudflare Pages Function. Depending on how the site is configured, they are stored in Cloudflare’s key-value storage and/or sent to an internal notification tool (such as a team chat or workflow service) so we can respond. Email is handled by Cloudflare Email Routing, which forwards messages sent to our address, and by our email provider. These providers may process data in countries other than your own.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry details for as long as we need them to respond, evaluate a potential transaction and keep reasonable business records, and then delete them. If a transaction goes ahead, related records are kept for as long as the agreement and applicable law require.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that help us run the site and our communications (such as Cloudflare and our email and messaging providers), professional advisers who owe us a duty of confidentiality, and authorities where the law requires it. We won’t tell any cloud or AI provider that you’ve contacted us without your agreement.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information you’ve sent us, object to how we use it, or stop contacting you, at any time, by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS, and access to submissions is limited to the people who need it to respond to you.
